Glass.com Instant Auto Glass Price Quotes

At Glass.com, we strive to provide an excellent customer experience when booking your auto glass replacement job. Part of what sets us apart from other sites is the ability to offer instant price quotes from multiple glass replacement shops for most vehicles and areas. This instant price quote is calculated using a formula which combines the price of your glass with labor costs, and other necessary parts that the installation requires such as urethane kits and moldings.

Each Glass.com Affiliate controls its own pricing. The Affiliate can adjust these prices at any time to account for industry supply chain price changes. Our affiliates estimate prices as close to the final cost as they can. However, this is not always possible.

There often are many different windshields available for the same vehicle (Some models have up to 20!). The prices of these windshields will vary depending on what features they include. Yes- believe it or not, windshields have features! The more features included with the windshield, the higher the price will be.

The specific windshield that is correct for your vehicle will depend on what options your vehicle came equipped with from the factory. Take for instance a 2016 Acura TLX: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as forward collision warning, automatic braking, and lane departure warning, are optional features that were available as an add-on from the factory. Many of these features are built into the windshield itself. Therefore, a 2016 Acura TLX with this feature package will need a different windshield than an Acura TLX without ADAS features.

Can my auto glass replacement quote differ from the final price?

Yes. We provide pricing based on the basic windshield. Therefore, if your vehicle has additional features incorporated into the windshield, the price will likely need to be adjusted to reflect this. Unfortunately, the only way to accurately calculate final pricing is to use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to identify exactly what features the vehicle is equipped with, which will determine the correct piece of replacement glass.

In order to eliminate any surprises, Glass.com alerts users to this possibility multiple times throughout the booking process. We want you to have realistic expectations and not be caught offguard in the event that a price adjustment does need to be made for your specific vehicle.

Am I obligated to follow through with the replacement if my price is adjusted?

No. Whether the price changes or not, you are not obligated by Glass.com to follow through with having your windshield replaced after submitting your contact information to us. We understand that life happens- perhaps it’s not a good time to have the replacement done, or maybe you’ve decided to sell the vehicle as-is. Whatever the case, don’t feel any pressure of commitment. However, we urge you not to book if you are simply “price shopping”. Our affiliates put a lot of time and resources into following up with prospects, which is why we give you as much information up-front as possible- including the price quote.
