Barn doors—which open on a slide at the top—are gaining popularity in homes in general, as they don’t require as much floor space as a swing door, and have been seen as bathroom entry doors, among other uses. As a shower entry, barn shower doors can be a type of frameless shower door, as the sliding apparatus at the top serves as the connection to the shower or bath enclosure.
