Wind Load

Wind load (sometimes spelled windload) is the force of pressure from moving air that is placed upon a structure. It is typically measured in pounds per square foot and applies to the exterior of a building. There are three main types of wind load including uplift wind load, shear wind load, and lateral wind load.
