Setting Location Service Settings In Nine Simple Steps

*Note:
This guide is for customizing service settings at the
Location level. This guide will explain how to adjust the service settings for a single location within a company, without affecting the service settings of other locations within the company.

Service settings set at the Location level only change the service offerings at a single location. This is a great option if you have multiple locations, each with its own mix of service offerings.
To change the service settings at the Company-wide level, please refer to this guide.

  1. Log into your Glass.com account. Trouble logging in? Please refer to this guide.
  2. Click “LOCATIONS” in the top navigation bar.
  3. Click the “Edit” button next to the location you wish to edit

    *Note: This guide assumes you have already set up a Location profile. If you haven’t done so yet, please follow our Creating or Making Changes to Your Location Guide first.

  4. Scroll down to the Service Settings section
  5. Toggle the radio button to “Define service settings specifically for this location”
  6. Select your “Auto Glass” settings
    • Does this location provide auto glass service? Toggle Yes/No. If yes:
      1. Do you wish to display instant price quotes to customers for this location? Toggle Yes/No
        *Note: Our studies have shown that not displaying instant price quotes to customers greatly reduces conversion rates.
      2. Use the checkboxes to state whether your location offers mobile auto glass service, in-shop auto glass service, or both. This information will be displayed in your location profile to let customers know what options are available.
        During the customer’s booking process, they will be given the option to choose which type of service they prefer, if both options are available in their area. If they prefer mobile service, and your company offers mobile service, the customer can include the address where they would like to have the replacement completed.

        *Note: Toggle Auto Glass service to “Yes” will also open up a dropdown section for setting Replacement Pricing. Please refer to our separate Setting Auto Glass Replacement Pricing Guide for more information.

  1. Select your “Windows & Doors” settings
    • Does this location offer window and/or door services? Toggle Yes/No. If Yes:
      1. Select which projects you would like this location to receive leads for. Selections for filtering include:
        1. Residential
        2. Commercial
        3. Full replacements (including frame)
        4. Repairs (glass/IGU only)
        5. Only jobs of 3 or more windows
      2. Select your “Showers” settings
        • Does this location offer shower door services? Toggle Yes/No.
          If Yes:
          1. Select which projects you would like this location to receive leads for. Selections for filtering include:
            1. Replacements (remodels)
            2. Repairs (glass or hardware only)
  1. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Save Location” button to save your change.
